The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 384/386 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the allegation, a demand of ransom was made from the informant, who is a doctor, however, it is contended that no ransom money was ever paid and petitioner's name has cropped in view of his self-incriminating confessional statement but the difference is that he has been found in possession of the SIM Card and mobile from which the demand of ransom was made. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail, after completion of six months under judicial custody, on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Smt. Smita Raj, J.M. 1st Class, Patna in connection with Kankarbagh P.S. Case No.324/2016. Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds. That apart, in view of the antecedents of the petitioner, he would be required to appear before the Sr.

Superintendent of Police, Patna within fifteen days of his release with a copy of this order and every two weeks thereafter for the next six months. The conduct of the petitioner will be kept under watch in the aforesaid period by the Sr. Superintendent of Police concerned and if it is found wanting in any respect, a report shall be made to the court concerned by him to initiate a proceeding for cancellation of bail for reasons of misuse of bail.
