JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 26-04-2019 The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is a retrenched census employee and his case is covered by the judgment delivered in C.W.J.C. No. 145 of 2015 (Ranjan Rahul & Ors Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors) which has been disposed off on 12.03.2015 .

2. Without going into the merits of the submission, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned authorities to verify the aforesaid averment of the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.6762 of 2019 dt.26-04-2019 2/2 and if is is found that the facts of the case of the petitioner is similar to the case of Ranjan Rahul (supra), similar treatment be given to the petitioner as well. However, if it is found that the claim of the petitioner is not tenable because of any difference with respect to the factual position, that shall be taken into account and then only an order shall be passed.

3. Should an application be filed by the petitioner for the aforesaid relief within a period of four weeks from today, the concerned respondent shall pass a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

4. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ petition stands disposed off.
