JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 18-08-2018 The present writ petition for quashing the order dated 11.12.2014 contained in memo no. 546 by which the PDS license no. 04/2007 of the petitioner has been cancelled and for directing the District Magistrate, East Champaran (respondent no. 2) to hear and dispose of Supply Appeal No. 8 of 2015-16 filed on 29.04.015 against the order of cancellation expeditiously.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and invites reference to paragraph-27 of the counter affidavit stating that

Patna High Court CWJC No.16574 of 2015 dt.18-08-2018 the petitioner's appeal has yet to be decided.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievance of the petitioner and the stand in the counter affidavit as aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, East Champaran (respondent no. 2) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Supply Appeal No. 8 of 2015-16, if still pending, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
