The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition of Liquor and Excise Act, 2016.

From a tempo, liquor of about 45 litres was allegedly recovery. Petitioner was sitting in the same tempo. The driver of the tempo has already been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. Petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2019. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Jokihat

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20846 of 2019(3) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 (Mahalgoan) P.S. Case No.82 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No.268 of 2019 with following conditions : (a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court below.
