The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 319 of 2020 dated 15.02.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018 (Amendment 2019).

It appears from the FIR that 66 litres of country made liquor was recovered from a hut. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the hut does not belong to him. The petitioner is in custody since 16.02.2020 and claims to be a person of clean antecedents. Considering the aforestated facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail
