JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 31-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(i). To direct the respondent authorities to grant interest at the rate of fifteen percent (15%) p.a with penal interest on the pension and commuted pension amount which was due since April 2002 and has been paid after inordinate delay on 29.11.12 to the petitioner who happens to be widow of Late Kamala Singh, a retired Junior Engineer (Mechanical) Irrigation Mechanical Division, Aurangabad."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
