The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 47(a), 54 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The police on raid found that four persons including the petitioner were engaged in trading of illegal liquor and from the house of Gango Mukhiya huge quantify of liquor has been recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was not present at the shop and he has no connection with Gango Mukhiya.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23760 of 2017 (2) dt.10-07-2017 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner, namely, Gautam Yadav alias Gautam Kumar, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Rosera, Samastipur in connection with Bithan P.S.
