Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 145 of 2019 corresponding to Trial No. 612 of 2019 for the offence under section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is husband. He has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner , let the petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of communication

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25882 of 2020(2) dt.14-10-2020 2/2 of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Benipur at Darbhanga, in connection with Complaint Case No. 145 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

In the event, the petitioner misbehaves, neglects and torture his wife, the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
