The petitioner seeks bail in Muffasil (Singhaul O.P.) P.S. Case No. 213 of 2014 registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner and other accused persons are alleged to have made indiscriminate firing causing death of the son of the informant. Many firearm injuries were found on the body of the deceased.

It is submitted that the trial court was directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year, but the trial has not yet been concluded.

The learned counsel for the informant submits that only one witness is left to be examined.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41277 of 2016 (2) dt.14-12-2016 2/2 Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The Superintendent of Police, Begusarai, is directed to ensure attendance of remaining one witness on the date fixed for evidence in the court below so that the trial must be concluded within six months.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned court below and Superintendent of Police, Begusarai, for information and needful.
