This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 166, 167, 420 and 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is of bungling in preparation of the list of beneficiaries of the Government scheme for damage of the crops.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was Nazir in the local block office and coaccused, Vinay Kumar, who was the Block Agriculture Officer, and co-accused, Bipin Kumar, who was Agriculture Advisor and had important role in deciding the list of beneficiaries, have already been allowed anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 26623 of 2017 and Cr. Misc. No. 26689 of 2017.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23192 of 2017 (4) dt.12-07-2017 2/2 twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Patepur P.S. Case No. 96 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Sub Judge XI-cum-Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, X, Vaishali at Hajipur, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
