The petitioner seeks bail in Tekari P.S. Case No.449 of 2017 registered under Sections 272, 273 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Three persons including the petitioner were arrested along with a four-wheeler vehicle from which 135 liters of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that other co-accused Surendra Sharma @ Butani was granted anticipatory bail. The petitioner was not arrested on the spot.
