2. The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 140(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals kidnapped an eight years old school going boy at 06:30 in the morning. The boy was taken out from the school bus.

4. The petitioner's name has come in the selfinculpatory statement of co-accused Raja Kumar and on the basis of the confessional statement, the weapons used in the crime have been recovered.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 30.10.2024 and claims clean antecedent.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.

7. The Superintendent of Police, Madhepura is directed to get the speedy trial of the case conducted.

8. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Madhepura as well as to the Superintendent of Police, Madhepura through FAX for its compliance forthwith.
