The instant writ petition has been filed praying for a direction in favour of the petitioner to appoint him as constable in the Border Security Force.

Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Union of India wherein offer of appointment dated 8.4.2015 issued in favour of the petitioner has been enclosed.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the same, no further order needs to be passed in the instant writ petition as the same has become infructuous.
