The petitioner seeks bail in Patahi P.S. Case No.146 of 2019 registered under Sections 37(d), 30(a), 38 and 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant alleged that when the police reached near the house of the petitioner, the petitioner managed to flee away but on search, 48 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered from the husk house of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in jail since 22.02.2020. Petitioner has of course got criminal antecedent and he is accused in three other criminal cases but for the recovery of 48 litres of Nepali liquor, the petitioner has remained in jail for more than five months.

Case No.146 of 2019.
