Petitioner seeks bail in Amarpur PS Case No. 342 of 2018 registered under Sections 307, 302, 120B/34 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is submitted by Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a man of clean antecedent. His name is not mentioned in the FIR alleging firing upon the deceased father of the informant. His name has been implicated at a later stage alleging that he has chased away the informant and resorted to firing upon informant during chase. He submits that the injury report does not support the allegation in the later part of the FIR made against the petitioner. He has falsely been implicated in this case and is in custody since 7.8.2018.
