Heard Mr. Binod Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Atul Chandra, learned counsel for the State. The petitioner, who is in custody since 23.12.2019 seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 289 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324, 302 and 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner happens to be the younger brother of the husband of the deceased.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that against him there is only general and omnibus allegation. The husband of the deceased has been granted bail under the provisions of Section 167(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The other accused persons of this case are also stated to have been released on bail. Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 289 of 2019.
