The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liquor was kept concealed under the thatched roof which has been recovered and petitioner has no knowledge for keeping the aforesaid liquor. She is aged about 65 years. The husband of the petitioner, namely, Jamun Choudhary, also resides in the said house and he has already surrendered in the aforesaid case.

No.24274 of 2017 (3) dt.11-07-2017 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioners, namely, Kanti Devi, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial magistrate, Raxaul at Motihari in connection with Adapur P.S. Case No.220 of 2016, G.R. No.1017 of 2016 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Vinay/- U T
