JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 06-07-2017 Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the complainant. The petitioner being the husband of the complainant is facing prosecution under section 498-A IPC in Complaint Case No. 1843 of 2015 and seeks grant of anticipatory bail. It is stated that the petitioner is ready and willing to resolve the matrimonial dispute with his wife (complainant). He also submits that the complainant herself has deserted the petitioner.

The counsel for the informant conversely submits that the petitioner has contracted the second marriage. However, if an effort is made by the petitioner (husband) she would be willing to

Considering the submissions advanced at Bar, let the petitioner above named, in the event of arrest/surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Gopalganj in Complaint Case No. 1843 of 2015, Tr. No. 2954 of 2017 on condition that one of the bailors shall be his own/close family member. Along with the bail bonds, the petitioner shall produce evidence/receipt showing payment/deposit of Rs. 3,500/- in favour of the complainant. (Kishore Kumar Mandal, J) HR/- U T
