The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.(A)(i) To promote the petitioner to the grade of Deputy General Manager (Genl.) on regular basis in pursuant to the official no 121/2014 - E/I. dated 07.10.2014 issued under signature of Deputy General Manager (ESTT), by which altogether 22 persons including the petitioner are promoted to the post of Deputy General Manager from the post.

(ii) To Give all the monitoring benefit including salary and allowance to the petitioner from the date Assistant General Manager assumed the charge of Deputy General Manager pursuant to the official order No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15278 of 2015(2) dt.08-09-2023 2/2 121/2014 E.I. with up to date interest."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has been granted promotion during the interregnum period but the same has been granted with effect from the year 2019 instead of the year 2014, hence he be granted liberty to approach the General Manager (R), Food Corporation of India, Patna i.e. the respondent no. 2 for redressal of his subsisting grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the respondent no. 2 shall consider the same, in accordance with law, and pass a reasoned and a speaking order within a period of 12 weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
