The petitioner seeks bail in S.Tr. No. 66 of 2016 arising out of Amarpur P.S. Case No. 215 of 2015, instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 324, 384, 386, 302 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act. This petitioner is named in the First Information Report. It is alleged that this petitioner with other co-accused caused firing, on account of which two persons died and two persons sustained injury. From the report of the court below which has been called for, it appears that trial of petitioner and other accused persons has begun. Petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2015.

No.52790 of 2016 (5) dt.02-02-2017 2/2 In such manner the court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and other accused persons without unnecessary adjournment preferably within 9 months. Petitioner is given liberty to renew the prayer of bail if the trial is not concluded within the specified time.
