In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Giriyak (Katrisarai) P.S. Case No. 254 of 2016 registered for offences under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A)/53(C) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

As per allegation, 53 liters of country and foreign liquor have been recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 29.8.2016. Looking to the period of custody and the entire facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Navin Singh, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46329 of 2016 (3) dt.16-11-2016 (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Biharsharif, Nalanda in connection with Giriyak (Katrisarai) P.S. Case No. 254 of 2016.
