The petitioner, who is in custody since 30.05.2020, seeks bail in connection with Barauni (Garhara) P.S. Case No. 46 of 2020, dated 03.02.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.
It appears that 823.56 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of one Ranjeet Paswan. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and her name has transpired during the course of investigation on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21703 of 2020(2) dt.07-07-2020 2/2 the basis of statement made by aforesaid Ranjeet Paswan. Considering the facts afore-stated, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail on her furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-II-Cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Begusarai in connection with Barauni (Garhara) P.S. Case No. 46 of 2020.
The application stands allowed.
