Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kankarbagh P. S. Case No. 217 of 2017 for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Submission made on behalf of the petitioner is that the petitioner and the informant are cousins. Further submission is that he is a student and pursuing his career. From perusal of the F.I.R., it appears that the allegations itself indicate that there was some intimacy existing between the petitioner and the informant.

In the facts and circumstances, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, the petitioner
