In this case, the petitioner is seeking a relief that he should be paid salary from 27.2.2009 to 30.6.2009.
Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the petitioner was appointed as a Personal Secretary (External) with effect from 27.2.2009 but, he joined the office on 15.6.2009. In view of the disputed question of fact, this Court cannot come to a conclusive finding with regard to period of service and thus, this Court cannot issue a mandamus for payment of salary. This writ application is, accordingly, dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate forum in accordance
