The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Ramgarh P.S.Case No.231 of 2018, G.R.No.2083 of 2018 registered for offences punishable under Sections 384, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation as per FIR is that an audio was viral showing that the petitioner who is a driver of the Police Jeep and other police personnel were illegally demanding money from the truck driver.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is only a Driver of the Police Jeep and he has nothing to do with the occurrence. As a matter of fact the A.S.I. was the Incahrge as such he would be responsible for that. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

No.78122 of 2018(2) dt.07-01-2019 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of nature of the case and the situation prevalent, I am not inclined to grant privilege of the anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below without being prejudiced by the order of this Court and if possible the case would be disposed of on the same day. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
