====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 24-08-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No. 99 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 414, 272 and 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He further submits that on secret information, the patrolling party apprehended one person, who disclosed his name as Umesh Sahni. He further submits that on the basis of confessional statement of Umesh Sahni, name of the petitioner surfaced. It is alleged that the petitioner is also involved in trade of liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 14.02.2020 and other co-accused has been granted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22437 of 2020(2) dt.24-08-2020 2/2 bail by this Court vide order dated 27.05.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No.34518 of 2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and other co-accused has been granted bail by this Court, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-IX-cum- Special Judge, Excise, Act, East Champaran in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No. 99 of 2019.
