Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 411 of the Indian Penal Code. When the petitioner was apprehended by the police, from the possession, mobile phones and other articles including foreign currency were recovered for which the petitioner did not account. The petitioner is in custody since 21.07.2016 and he is accused in 11 similar types of cases.

Submission is that the petitioner is already on bail in other cases.

Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present in connection with Piro Police Station Case No. 221 of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48748 of 2016 (3) dt.23-01-2017 2/2 2016 pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, In charge, Bhojpur, Ara. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after completion of one year in custody, if the trial is not concluded in the meantime, before the court below and the court below shall consider the same favourably.
