The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 406,420,467,468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that the petitioner got appointed as a teacher in Korha High School on the basis of forged B.ed. certificate issued by Gauhati University. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had no knowledge about his certificate being fake and the petitioner still claims that he got certificate from Gauhati University. The petitioner has resigned though after expiry of the period of immunity granted by this court
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48111 of 2015 (2) dt.06-11-2015 2/2 vide order passed in C.W.J.C. No. 1459 of 2014. Considering the fact that the petitioner has already resigned, it is a case for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by the learned court below in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Katihar P.S. Case No. 510 of 2015 pending in the court of learned CJM, Katihar.
This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
