The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Sections 385/387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to F.I.R., ransom was demanded from the informant on mobile call. Thereafter, two persons came and stated that they are men of this petitioner and they also demanded ransom on behalf of the petitioner. The mobile number was of the petitioner as referred in Para-47 of the case diary. Petitioner has got a long list of criminal antecedent as referred in Para-40 of the case diary and most of them are of serious nature. Th petitioner is in custody since 30.11.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26125 of 2020(3) dt.04-12-2020 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and his criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Kutumba P.S. Case No. 132 of 2019.

Hence, prayer for bail is refused.

Learned trial Judge is directed to expedite the trial of the aforesaid case.
