2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363 and 366A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. On perusal of the records it appears that on 01.05.2024, it was stated on behalf of the petitioner that the victim is a major girl and having one child and she is residing with the petitioner. On this statement, this Court had directed the petitioner to produce the victim girl before this Court on the next date.

4. Today, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he could not contact the victim and as such, she could not be produced.

5. It is a case of kidnapping. As per prosecution case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25187 of 2024(3) dt.26-06-2024 2/2 there is specific allegation that this petitioner kidnapped the minor daughter of the informant with the intention to marry her. The victim is still trace-less.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, nature of accusation and the fact that victim is still trace-less, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
