JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-07-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No.2318 of 2017, disclosing offences under Section 498A of IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Case is under Section 498A of IPC with an allegation of demand and torture to the complainant. It further appears that as there was submission that petitioner is still ready to keep his wife with dignity and care. He was directed vide order dated 24.06.2019 to bring back his wife from her Maike and the case was fixed on 24.06.2019 and both the parties were directed to appear in person but in spite of that direction yesterday, also petitioner has not appeared in person and, therefore, the case has

Considering the conduct of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below and make prayer for regular bail.
