The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 325, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the prosecution case, all the accused persons including petitioners brutally assaulted the informant for dowry. It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the informant and so far as petitioners are concerned, there is no specific overt act against them, rather the allegation is general and omnibus. Petitioners are separate in mess and property and have got no concern with the affairs of the informant.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23839 of 2022(2) dt.08-09-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bhagalpur in connection with Nathnagar (Madhusudanpur) P.S. Case No. 66 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
