In the present writ petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the first information report of Banmankhi P.S. case no.232/2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioners have committed no offence and on vague and cryptic information, a criminal prosecution has been launched against him.
I have perused the allegations made in the FIR. The allegations do attract ingredients of a cognizable offence. In that view of the matter, I do not find any merit in this application. Accordingly, the application is dismissed. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/- U T
