1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of writ/ writs, direction/directions, order/ orders in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to adjust the due and temporary advance amount of Rupees 1,19,398.17/- pending against the name of petitioner due to the inaction of the Respondents authorities, which was spent and utilized in flood fighting work during the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15441 of 2015(2) dt.01-09-2023 2/2 period between year 2000 to February 2002 while the petitioner was posted as Assistant Engineer, Flood Control circle Division 1, Madhubani at Camp Padrauna due to the reasons best known to the concerned authorities despite submission of all required papers along with vouchers since long back in the year 2002 and also for a direction to the concerned authorities to refund the excessive amount of Rupees 1,72,905.38 (One lakh seventy two thousand nine hundred five and thirty eight paisa} spent on miscellaneous work by the petitioner during the aforesaid period."

2. After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.
