The petitioner is accused in connection with Piro P.S. Case No. 199 of 2016 registered under sections 498A, 304B/34 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of A.C.J.M.-I, Ara. The accusation is of cruelty and torture physically as well as mentally in various manners for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Thereafter, the informant went in-laws' house of her daughter and found the dead body was lying at the door and her upper part was burnt.

Submission is that the petitioner had never demanded any dowry nor subjected any cruelty. It is also submitted that the deceased was mentally retired. Further submission is that

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner with submission that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and there is specific allegation against him.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
