JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 20-08-2020 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kudhni P.S. Case No. 41 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 399, 402 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(a-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2020. It is alleged that from possession of the petitioner one country made pistol and two live cartridges was recovered.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained in custody for more than seven months, the Court is inclined to grant bail to him. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees
