JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-07-2020 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video Conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID-19 Pandemic. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Goreyakothi PS case no. 142 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of Indian Penal Code.

After some arguments, considering the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased victim lady and has been alleged to have killed his wife on account of non-fulfilment of the demand for dowry as also sensing the posture of the Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21237 of 2020(2) dt.08-07-2020 2/2 to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below and pray for regular bail.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off as not pressed, however with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today and apply for grant of regular bail. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) rinkee/- U T
