Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner and seven other FIR named accused are said to have assaulted the informant by means of lathi, danta. The impugned order goes to show that, altogether, five injuries were found on the head of the informant and out of the aforesaid five injuries, three injuries were found in grievous in nature but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that having more or less similar allegation co-accused Pravesh Yadav @ Babajee Yadav and Dabloo Yadav have already been granted privilege of bail by different benches of this court and so far as petitioner is concerned, he is in jail custody since 20.7.2016 without having any criminal antecedent.
Taking note of the aforesaid submissions as well as facts
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44139 of 2016 (4) dt.09-12-2016 and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Brajesh Kumar, Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Khagaria/ concerned court in Gogri (Paura) P.S. Case no. 157/2014.
