Mr.P.N.Shahi (AAG-6) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-05-2019 The petitioner, a Panchayat Secretary, though was suspended on 25.01.2017, but charges against him in the departmental proceeding was framed on 11.10.2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that despite his having filed his show cause reply, the proceeding has not yet been concluded.

3. According to the information of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7317 of 2019(2) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 petitioner, even the Inquiry Report has been submitted to the Disciplinary Authority but for no good reason, the enquiry has not yet been concluded.

4. Under the aforesaid circumstances, the Disciplinary Authority, who, in the present case is District Magistrate, Sitamarhi (respondent No. 2) is directed to conclude the proceedings as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
