JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 25-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. (i) For the issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Peon/ orderly on the basis of compassionate ground as the father of the petitioner Late Ram Balak Singh, who was working on the post of orderly (Anudeshak) died on 16.5.2020 due to cardiac arrest, while he was working in Nazarat Section Civil Court, Rohtas."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District and Sessions Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram to dispose of the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment within a stipulated time frame.

The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment shall be considered and disposed of, in accordance with law, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court. 4.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District and Sessions Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram to consider and dispose of the case of the petitioner for grant of appointment on compassionate ground, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
