The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in lieu of death of his father who died in harness on 10.04.2016.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application in the prescribed format for grant of appointment on compassionate ground within the prescribed time period and the same is also being considered by the authorities, as is apparent from the letter of the B.D.O.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6810 of 2019 dt.05-04-2019 2/2 Simri, Bakhtiyarpur, Saharsa dated 25.07.2017, however no final decision has been taken till date.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent no. 4/ 6 is directed to take a final decision either way with regard to the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

The present writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
