The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Section 30A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The prosecution case, in short, is that acting on a tip off, police raided a house of one Amrendra Kr. Mishra and seized 5 bottles of 180 ml of Foreign liquor. Said Amrendra kr.Mishra named one Santosh Kr. Keshri @ Bhutti as a person who supplied the said wine. Thereafter, police raised the house of Santosh Kumar Keshri and seized 6 bottles of 180 ml Foreign Liquor. Apprehended Santosh Kumar Keshri disclosed name of the petitioner as the supplier of the said liquor. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22144 of 2019(4) dt.08-07-2019 2/2 petitioner's case is that police raided his house on the information of co-accused Santosh Kumar Keshri, but nothing was recovered from his house.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below it within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise, Buxar in Koransari Police Station Case No. 8 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
