2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 697 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 49, 351(3), 3(5) of the BNS, 2023 and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are said to have assaulted the victim.
4. The petitioner is in custody since 16.12.2025 and it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the main assailant of the victim is one Ajay Kumar and the petitioner is said to be with Ajay Kumar.
5. Considering the nature of allegation levelled
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21913 of 2026(2) dt.08-04-2026 2/2 against the petitioner and the period of custody, this application is allowed.
6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned concerned Court below in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 697 of 2025.
7. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
