2. It is informed that as of now, there seems no possibility of settlement between both the parties.
3. At the time of argument, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that till today, about Rs. 50 lakhs has already been paid by the petitioner to the O.P.-wife. He further submits that as of now, the mother of the petitioner had already died and his daughter got married. Therefore, no further cause of action is available to the petitioner in this case, however, he submit that at present daughter of the petitioner and his family is also dependent upon him. Therefore, he prays that the petition may be disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.288 of 2023(12) dt.05-09-2024 2/2 make an application before the concerned Family Court under Section 127 of Cr.P.C. raising these grounds for modification/alteration of the impugned order of maintenance.
3. The above prayer made by the counsel is allowed.
4. The petition is disposed of giving liberty as prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
