The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 180 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 1102 litres of illicit liquor from a Tata 407 vehicle parked in front of the house of the petitioner.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case inasmuch as the recovery of the illicit liquor is neither from the conscious possession of the petitioner nor the aforesaid Tata 407 vehicle belongs to the petitioner. Lastly, it is submitted that the

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 180 of 2018.
