The petitioner seeks bail in Digha P.S. Case No. 140/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of Laljit Rai, who disclosed that he committed theft in the house of the informant along with the petitioner, but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Sushil Kumar has already been granted bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 40837/2016 on 22.10.2016.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of
