The petitioner being the husband, has been in custody since 06.08.2017 in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 20 of 2015 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B, 201, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier a prayer for bail was rejected vide order dated 03.04.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 18835 of 2018. It is further submitted that since the petitioner has already been in custody since 06.08.2017, he may be released on bail.

Considering the fact that the petitioner being the husband has the moral responsibility to take care of his wife and the death of the daughter of the informant occurred on account

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.76835 of 2018(2) dt.10-01-2019 2/2 of a demand for dowry, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to this petitioner.

It is, accordingly, rejected once again.

However, it would be advisable and in the interest of justice that trial of the present case be expedited so as to conclude the same preferably within a period of one year from today.
