Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Madanpur P.S. Case No. 280 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the first information report. She has been made accused in this case merely because she is the owner of the motorcycle from which recovery of the country made liquor has been made. During investigation also, no material has come against this petitioner showing complicity in the alleged crime. Petitioner is a lady having clean antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77508 of 2018(3) dt.13-03-2019 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge VII-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad in connection with Madanpur P.S.
