Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 98 of 2016 registered under Sections341, 323, 354B, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is he used to tease the informant and tried to make her naked. In that course, the informant became senseless and on gaining consciousness she found that her golden ear ring was taken away by the petitioner. Petitioner is also alleged to have assaulted the husband of the informant.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case and the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45173 of 2016 (3) dt.27-01-2017 2/2 allegations levelled under section 354B are fabricated. Considering the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, who is a named accused, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, rejected.
