In this case, the petitioner is seeking relief for being appointed as police constable in the B.M.P in terms of the advertisement issued in the year 2004.

The advertisement is of the year 2004 and we are in 2016. So, it cannot be looked into after a delay of about 12 years. In such view of the matter, this writ application is dismissed as having become infructuous.
